I actually really enjoyed the small segment that I got to play. Didn't finish it because I was playing this game for a video and wanted to keep it somewhat short but I still had a lot of fun! Here are my impressions of the game!

(+1)

Excellent job with this game! It was not the typical horror game, which makes it special! I would love to see a full version get made! Keep up the great work! I will share this game in a Discord server for creators that I'm in

That was an awesome video, thanks man! Also really glad you liked the soundtrack as I had to put it together las minute haha. I'll probably make the full soundtrack downloadable/buyable on the full version if anyone is interested!

I'm so glad that you enjoyed the video!! It means a lot, and I'm hyped that you might be making the soundtrack downloadable! You're a legend haha!

I'm itchin to play another game of this, We still Can't make nintender make Goldeneye though can we?

(+2)

i HAVE ALWAYS loved when retro meets horror, and this reminds me alot of goldeneye 64 so i loved this alot! cant wait for the hour long version! models were great

(+1)

Thanks! I will rework most of the models though, as they were put together in a very short amount of time.

(+2)

Simply incredible.

Thanks, glad you liked it!

(+2)

I absolutely loved this game! I’m happy to hear that you’re going to make a longer version and can’t wait for it to come out! Hope you enjoy my video this version 😁

(+2)

That was a funny video haha. It could take some time before the full version is finished, but stay tuned!

(+2)

I love GoldenEye 64 and still play it sometimes, so this was a lot of fun to check out. It definitely got creepy toward the end. Thanks for making this!

(+2)

Thank you for the video! This was such a fun demo to make.

(+2)

So what I was trying to say in my video is that this game triggers a childhood fear in me, but also gives a nostalgic feeling. Games that were made for the N64 just hit differently, yeah the graphics and mechanics were a bit wonky but it worked in the end! However, they are not perfect when things go wrong in the cartridge or the console itself you get these creepy error readings, or in some cases the game works but things don't seem to look the same. Just think of it this way, you're about to play your favorite N64 game, and it's late at night, as you insert the cartridge you await the title screen only to get a black screen in white letters "Error Data Corrupted" or "Error Please Insert Game," followed by some brown noise and only the reflection of your face. As a child, those things spooked me I don't know why but it was creepy if that makes any sense.

Either way, can't wait for the full experience, I really want to know what happens afterward!

(+2)

Really happy you enjoyed it! And yes, those old (corruption) glitches can be really creepy. When I was younger, I was scared of the word 'corruption' for a long time haha. I will be focussing more on the (creepy) glitch aspect in the full game as it will be a longer experience than this 'demo'.

(+1)

Heck yeah bruhhh !  this game is rad and I'm excited for the Full release!

(+2)

very nice work, keep going!

Full Play NO Commentary

Not a bad game for sure. Honestly, you could go both ways with this game if you wanted to. It'll be interesting to see how other people plays old school fps.

Here's my channel for other games I have played. https://www.youtube.com/@Levont

(+1)

Great work! 10/10

(+2)

This was a great little game, it actually had me on edge when the entities appear
(+2)

Man, I somehow didn't read the entire description and expected a regular Goldeneye clone. This is a twist I didn't see coming and it's executed well

(+2)

Lol Wow this was a good one! Nice job!

(+2)

Q & E switch weapons fyi

(+2)

I never played a game that made me improvise a song for 2.5 minutes. 10/10

(+1)(-1)

HAHAHAHA this is the game i have been looking for and it's so good I really want more so you know.... GREAT GAME
(+2)

Super fun game! Reminded me of No Players Online, hope there's more levels in the future
(2 edits) (+2)

No Players Online was definitely where I got most of my inspiration from!

(+2)

I know it's just a horror parody but it was a genuinely good action game with combat that felt really smooth and better than a lot of indie games that cost money. I'd totally be interested in buying a full game like this.

(+2)

Glad to hear! I am currently working on a full version. The combat and especially the AI could use some work though. So I will definitely work on that.

REALLY liked this cool take on GoldenEye! Would love to experience multiple maps and find more lore!

(+1)

Thank you! I got a bit inspired by the Sonic.EXE creepypasta.

(+2)

That was brilliant. Sending a few bucks your way.

Really appreciate it, glad you liked it!

(+2)

I Kid you not I though this was a different game. I can't really remember the name of it but it has a similar style to this. The complete surpise towards the latter half of the game has no words to describe it. I don't scare easy but geniunely I felt tension during the second half. Because of the forth wall breaking things also made me think I had installed the game wrong or something. Bravo! You actually spooked me.

(I'll also admit. I didn't look at the description for this until after I played the game. I'm somehow that stupid.)

(+1)

I went in totally blind as well!

I really feel empty wanting more of this game afterwards , I would like to play this game for the full 50+ hr experience of a AAA it only needs some polish & expanding and it could be a cult classic itself oneday!

(+1)

The game you are faintly remembering is Goldeneye 007. And yes, you are right, this was amazing!

(+1)

Believe it or not it wasn't goldeneye. Although this game captures that perfectly! The game I thought it was is another fan game called Agent 64

(+2)

this is quite literally one of the most interesting concepts for a indie horror game I’ve ever played, an expansion upon this would be amazing! Great experience all around.

(+2)

😊👍
(1 edit) (+2)

This was pretty good. Like how it turned from a fun classic FPS game to an eerie horror game after the "restart" that was a nice touch. Made a video on it.

One of the Apparitions should be a woman's ghost that comes stabbing overhead at the screen slowly advancing with a knife pointed downward until the alarm sound , at which her head looks up at you and she raises the knife and it begins phasing in and out left and right of the center of your screen advancing with a creepypasta grin , have the proper escape route to be to run straight backwards and veer left or right while shooting and her and trying to not get poked!  In imagining this Foe ,I'm thinking of House of the Dead 2 1st level Boss stuff specifically, oh and lemme know if you know the guy i mean he is a boss at the end and it is like he is locked to the screen, so when he touches a wall he can become phased out for a random number of steps and then he re-appears somewhere onscreen and also once taking certain number of damages he will changed sides...  I haven't played that game in a long time but I believe this is the perfect example of that mechanic in action for your end of that if you so decide to try doing this one.

A Chick running with a knife overhead is just plain scary to me pal !  lol

(+1)

I would like to see this one get some extra content occasionally , I am downloading it right now for the first time.  I haven't watched any videos but what I see in the pictures here has me focused only on playing this , oh ho ho it's my two favoooreeeght things boys n girls ! Horror and 007, why the heck is my internet so slow I can actually type this whole message out on here within the downloading of something I wish I thought of myself haha { ! ! )  W O W ! ! !}

(+1)

I hope you like it! Currently I'm working on some other projects. However, it is possible to rivisit Agent No 6 at a later moment. Maybe add a second chapter. (and of course fix some of the bugs)

(+1)

Im sorry I got lost in playing the game !

(+1)

Man, I can't thank you enough! Really happy you enjoyed it.

(+1)

Im not finished checking in on your progress this is just too cool and thanks for your hard work a labor of love because I know just how many have tried to recapture that GE64 Wizard Juice they had back in the 1990s and you have synthesized 007 into a fear serum and injected in into my neck !!!  I mean WTF my friend(s)!  Is it a one dev show here?  just curious

(+1)

I've currently read your comments and really appreciate your input. I am however afraid not all of these mechanics work will in Agent no 6 but I do like a game in the style of House of the Dead 1996, as you descriped. Maybe I can put some things together though!

As I am a solo developer, and full-time student, this can be really tough to tackle (at least in short notice). Furthermore, I will be focussing on at least one other project before fully starting on this.

(+1)

Please make it so that there is a button to go back a weapon and write it in so in each progressing level might introduce a new apparition and some new soldier types.  I am chipping in some money to this game it's the first time I believe I have done this but this is worthy of my filthy lucre!!!  Take your time please & work through the bugs , there weren't any that broke my game in the two runs I have made now, but I do wish for two things in the full version...

Things I would like to see in full version

1- a bot and monster fighter simulator like in PD64

(could be simple as #of Bots, #of Apparitions, #of Ammoboxes &even be single player)

2- I think that the areas with monsters could be brightened up with a few Soldier enemies to break the player's expectations like an attack from a soldier wielding a shotgun that comes barrelling through some empty barrels and then staring down Agent No.6 the simple five second cutscene is over and you gotta deal with a new soldier that weilds a pump-action remington 870 Shotgun...

I have NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS GAME SORRY I WON'T even list a con except the lack of a weapon reel button that goes back a gun!  SWEET MOTHER OF GOD THANK Jesus and all the Butterflies This Mother F'er just went and made my night!!!                       Thanks to the developers!

(+2)

I really loved the game and the horror twist on the second run ^^, if anything I'll say that the AI and hit boxes could be improved a little bit ,but overall the game is pretty good ^^.

(+1)

You are completely right. Unfortunately i didn't have the time to add a good localized damage system. Also the AI behaviour could be better. Thank you for the feedback though!

(+1)

You are welcome ^^

(+2)

Awesome game liked it a lot. Really like how it feels like golden eye but terrifying. Can't wait for more games from you!

(+1)

Really glad you enjoyed it!

(+2)

Cool game here's a speedrun

(+2)

This is actually really impressive :o

(+2)

Thank you, I was very hype to mess with it when even damage boosting was added in just like Goldeneye

(+2)

Loved this game! I really liked the old school feel from Goldeneye! The music was catchy, and then it got pretty spooky! Kept getting creeped out by the noises, and got jumpscared a few times as well! Would love to see more like this! Awesome job!

(+2)

Thanks for the kind words!

(+1)

Thank you for making the game!

(+2)

What do you think this is?! Goldeneye 007?!

(+3)(-1)

Very interesting concept! I loved the nostalgia feel to this and when it meets horror, it blends together like peanut butter and jelly!

(+1)

Really appreciate it!

(+2)

Very interesting goldeneye horror game.

(+2)

i like this game :)

(+2)

Cool!

(+2)

(+2)

This game was bonkers! I really enjoyed it. Went from a fun action game to creepy as hell in no time hehe. Well done

(+1)
